Preparation
What to bring to a trial
- Football boots suitable for the trial surface
- Training clothing and a change of kit
- Shin pads
- Water and personal hydration
- Any documentation requested in your invitation
- A parent or guardian if you are under 18
On the day
How a Camp Gee trial runs
- Registration and confirmation of your application reference — no payment desk exists.
- Warm-up and physical readiness checks led by academy staff.
- Technical assessment: control, passing, striking and position-specific work.
- Small-sided and full match play so coaches can assess decision-making in context.
- Written coach assessments recorded against the academy's sixteen criteria.
- Debrief on next steps and how decisions will be communicated.
Selection Cannot Be Bought
Camp Gee Football Academy does not charge for applications, trials, admission, selection or training. Do not pay anyone who claims they can guarantee selection, promotion, scout access or a foreign club contract. Confirm every communication through Camp Gee's official channels.
